Professional Experience

Meredith currently serves as Managing Director at Maximus Partners, where she draws on fifteen years in investment banking and ten years as a chief financial officer to strengthen the firm’s capabilities. In this role, she partners with private equity investors and executive teams to reinforce the financial operations of growth-oriented organizations, with particular focus on the Education, Services, Technology, and Investment Banking sectors. In the same industries, she has spent her career building and scaling high-performing companies.

Meredith Ruble has made significant contributions to uplift and further the presence of women in the financial and educational technology sectors. Her professional career began in 1993 as an Analyst and later, a Senior Analyst for CMS Companies in Philadelphia. 

In 2000, she began working for Stifel Financial Corporation as a Managing Director and was later promoted to Principal, Vice President, and Associate of the Education Group. Her work with Stifel involved spearheading investment banking transactions, focusing on education operating companies and ed-tech service businesses.

As the Corporate Development Advisor for Noodle Partners PBC in New York, she was instrumental in continuing transactional support for capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. She also served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer from June 2019 to December 2023, during which she spearheaded growth from $1 million to over $90 million. 

Meredith’s strategic vision and effectiveness in managing investor relationships helped drive the company’s pivot, enabling Noodle’s successful transition from managing third-party vendors to providing comprehensive services to universities.

Perhaps her most significant achievement with Noodle Partners PBC was steering the firm through four acquisitions. She also led the company through four rounds of debt and seven equity funding rounds, ultimately raising a total of $120 million.

Meredith was equally effective in her roles at Noodle Companies LLC, where she served as Chief Financial Officer from June 2017 to June 2019. Her efforts in rebuilding and restructuring the company’s accounting systems and processes helped drive the success of its independent businesses, Noodle Markets, Noodle Partners, Noodle.com, and Noodle Pros.

As CFO, Meredith’s responsibilities included developing cash forecasting, budgeting, and reporting tools to support the four companies. She was also tasked with overseeing all back-office administrative functions, including human resources, IT, legal, finance, and accounting.

From July 2013 to March 2017, Meredith served as Chief Financial Officer for ID Tech Camps in Campbell, California. A premier provider of technology-focused summer camps, ID Tech completed a minority recapitalization within 90 days of Meredith’s tenure.

As CFO for ID Tech Camps, Meredith played a crucial role in implementing budget and planning tools and managing the company’s PO system and expenses. Her work in these areas led the company through a period of significant revenue growth, earning from $25 million to $65 million in three years.

Meredith also spearheaded the transformation of ID Tech Camps’ customer service division into a world-class sales operation by implementing real-time data and performance targets. Her efforts contributed in large part to the sale of the company to Emeritus for $200M, providing investors a significant return.

Personal details 

Meredith Ruble grew up in central Pennsylvania. Her mother was a beauty queen in Mississippi, while her father was a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. 

Meredith has always had an independent streak from an early age. She was an exchange student at 15 and lived abroad for over a year. After attending boarding school at Mercersburg, she enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in economics and minored in Japanese studies. 

Among her extensive list of professional accomplishments, Meredith is most proud of her years as managing director at an investment bank and as CFO of Noodle Partners PBC and Noodle Companies LLC. 

In her spare time, Meredith enjoys playing with her dogs and cooking. She is also an avid home designer and gardener.
